Clear, whole, independently segmented tasks that are easy to measure based on factors such as duration and difficulty, such as research reports and coding tasks, are submitted by contributors and reviewed by heads or leaders. The existing task types and measurement standards are as follows:
Duration: The amount of time spent completing the task
Challenge level: Tasks of different types are hierarchically classified based on factors such as difficulty, professionalism, responsibility, and risk. The hierarchy is quantified using convex functions:
Result correction value: Adjusted based on actual results and team budget (can be negative).
Examples of specific contributions: | Challenge Level | Challenge Factor |
---|---|---|
Example: A research report generally takes 16 hours to complete, with a challenge level of 4, so the reference value is 16x4.2=67.2. Alice's actual research report took 10 hours to complete, and due to good reading and evaluation, the correction value is 10, resulting in a final reputation of 10x4+10=50.
Task Release and Reputation Award Process
Task Type Determination: Most tasks need to be classified into task types (such as research reports). The task type is initiated by the Governance Committee's "Internal Consensus" proposal to add/delete task types and determine duration and challenge level, thereby determining the reference value of the task, which is duration x challenge coefficient.
Self-submission/Proxy submission: Members can claim tasks on Notion, Discord, forums, etc., and self-submit reputation based on the reference value, with a range of [0, reference value x 150%]. Heads or Leaders can also submit on behalf of contributors after confirming with them.
Review: The reputation submitted by members is reviewed by Heads or Leaders, including the correctness of the submitted data and adjustments based on actual results and team budget.
Publicity: Publicity is carried out within the community for a minimum of 3 days. If there is any objection, it can be submitted to the Governors.
