# Contribution Types

Anything that benefits BuidlerDAO members and the community can be considered a contribution and recorded as proof of contribution (PoC) to enjoy community reputation and benefits.

The following quantifications of various contribution types can be measured by these factors:

* Duration: the time spent completing the task
* Difficulty: the threshold, complexity, and challenge
* Professionalism: the level of experience in a professional field
* Responsibility and risk-taking: the cost and risk undertaken
* Effectiveness: the actual user and market feedback produced
